The Beis Din provides documentation necessary for marriage in Israel. The Personal Status Certificates issued serve as both proof of Jewishness and, where applicable, eligibility for marriage. You will be requested to provide documentation such as birth and death certificates, or testimony from aquaintances, to support your claim. The fee for a standard letter is $50.
